The import of ceramics in United States and Europe shrink;there is still demand for China's ceramic(2009/12/30)

According to the U.S. Customs statistics show that, according to the total imports data, the U.S. imports continued to shrink on ceramics for daily use, but the China's in the U.S. import market share has remained at 69% even more, and the rate of imports from China fell consistently below the average of U.S. imports decline.

European Union Customs statistics show that, imports showed a downward trend in the European Union. China accounted for the proportion of EU imports of household ceramics market has always been maintained at about 75%, under the impact of imports falling, European Union imports from China declined month by month in the amount of money, which in March over the month were down 39.4% than the EU average, the chain in March month decline 28.2% more than 10 percentage points.

Although foreign imports of some developed economies continue to shrink, but because China's exports of household ceramics are middle and low end products, which is related with foreign consumer's daily lives. Under the condition of foreign consumers in the importing country compress high-end consumption, China's exports of the ceramics for daily use still get a larger demand, this can be proved by the high market share our country occupied Europe and the United States. Therefore, to daily-use ceramics export enterprises in China, when facing the weak external demand in the current circumstances, every effort to stabilize the traditional market development in emerging markets, adjusting business strategies, strengthen internal management and reduce costs, open up the domestic market, are the effective strategy to the current round of crisis.
